“I will do the ride in honor of Hugo!”
On Saturday, 11th of July 2009 Edgar’s friend Hugo Gonzalez was killed in an accident. Hugo was riding his bicycle when a car struck him. Hugo left behind his wife and two young daughters.
In former times Edgar did a lot of long distance cycling tours which let him up to the edges of Europe. Since an accident in 2000, followed by six surgeries at his knee until 2002, this is his first bigger cycling tour.
